Alliance Redwoods Conference Grounds, in partnership with various Indigenous nations and the County of Sonoma, introduces the Indigenous Youth Training Program.
This innovative new training and mentorship program promises on-the-job experience in a variety of disciplines as well as in-depth courses from educators at the top of their respective fields.
Over the course of six months, students will learn from professors at Stanford and the University of California as well as tribal leaders, county officials, and experts in other various career paths. Students will emerge with a robust toolbox that prepares them well for the workforce and their lives beyond.
Paid on-the-job training in each department at Alliance Redwoods:
Being mentored by Alliance Redwoods leadership and shadowing them as they lead.
In classes taught by professors from Stanford University and UC Santa Cruz, Alliance Redwood staff and leadership from various Indigenous nations.
