Indigenous communities around the world face significant economic challenges. They are often among the most impoverished populations globally, suffering from the adverse effects of natural resource exploitation and deforestation. Despite these challenges, indigenous peoples play a crucial role in preserving 80% of the world's biodiversity. ICSE seeks to address these issues by leveraging ecotourism to provide economic opportunities and support environmental conservation.
The ICSE aims to make a difference by empowering indigenous people of the world to be change-makers in their communities by promoting and strengthening cultural, economic, and environmental sustainability through education for sustainable development and on-the-job training.
